For the work that I do, which is not making knives, but fabricating and welding pretty much daily, the single speed work beautifully.
Seller overcharged me by about $40 on shipping when I checked with ups. Not only that I reached out to the seller (twice) to see what the hold up on my package was and got zero response. Still haven’t gotten a response. Man charged me over $138 to ship this to me and it took about 10 days to get here. And I’ll reiterate : seller would NOT communicate with me. Secondly , I was promiced a motor that draws 15 amps on 110v. This motor draw 12.6 amps. So I was lied to when I sent them an inquirie about this motor befor buying. It was listed as a 1.5 ho motor but it’s not like a 1 1/4 hp. For said reasons I will never do buisiness with this seller again.

Our standard policy is to always provide realtime shipping quotes in the cart for customers to determine if the rate is acceptable to them, and we're always willing to provide a custom quote for shipping on request. Regarding delay in response to shipping, we did not see any messages from you on this issue and appologize for them not getting to us - we have no idea what happened there. Regarding your questions on amperage, we offered that it would run on a 15 amp circuit but didn't specifiy the specific amperage of the motor. Again, this appears to be a misunderstanding to provide the information you were looking for before purchase. Your business means alot ot us, thanks again for your feedback.
