I just installed one of the two I purchased. The wheel went on my 2x72 without any issues. The wheel operates very smoothly, and now the grinder is much quieter and belts track perfectly.

Bought this wheel as I needed something a bit more robust. This wheel has not disappointed and the bearings are VERY easy to replace which I appreciate immensely.
This works great with my tilt table to achieve very consistent grinds.
Stop reading this and just buy it. You won't regret it. I sure haven't

This is a solid, quality kit and that was a fun build. I ran into a few issues with the belt tracking/alignment due to missing spacer nuts. Reached out via the customer service email and they sent me everything I needed.

I ordered yours D plate with 1/2 “ threads and return other brand w/ metric threads , ordered yours wheels and returned other brand but I rather bearings on outside less flex . I’m taking my time building 1st belt grinder 1/4”tubing 1/2” motor plate making my own design .

Works as it should…..great machine…..went thru (3) different drives on my end till I found the one I like (KBAC 27D)…..works great……I need to find some seamless belts…..and make a table for it……all in all a very good machine……Glenn

I still have yet to put it together we are cattle ranchers and spring is busy. But I can’t wait till I get a chance it looks ranch worthy ( bullet proof ) . We only buy good American built to support our efforts and I’m thinking you are spot on. Continued at a later date!

I got it thank you for helping me track my order. The parts are ofvery good quality, fit and finish is very good. I also wanted to say I purchased the DIY 2x72 grinder. Im am by no means a welder but the pieces fit so well, that, i was surprised at my own welding. I’ve wanted a 2x72 belt grinder for a long time, I went through a 1x30,and a 4x36, both very under powered, and belt for both cost almost as much as the 2z72, I wish I found your site sooner, oh well better late then never
Wheel is excellent, runs true. I gave it four stars cause,there was so much machine chatter on the wheel, that it looked used. The part was new, other than that I would’ve given it five stars.
I like the fact that you can get an excellent 2x72 belt grinder, and not take out a second mortgage on my home, granted you have to do a little welding, but you get the satisfaction of building it yourself. Thanks Diktator Grinders, for an amazing 2x72 fof an affordable price.
bolt not long enough given the offset of the frame. had to source a fully threaded 1/2-13 x 4.5 SS bolt to apply correct spacing with jam nuts and mount to frame. instructions not available, but then again, not needed. however a picture somewhere explaining the intended mount would be nice. i have bolt going through wheel into frame... and as I said, additional SS jam nuts and washers to space out enough to meet belt
Have not put it together hopefully soon like it small and powerful!

I needed this part for a custom grinder I'd built a while back. Been using a car back hatch strut lol. This little guy is PERFECT. Great product at a great price. There was a a small hiccup with the shipping situation that Diktator corrected. The platen is great because I can access both sides without interference.

Not as “true” turning as the 10” wheel I bought a few years ago. Even with lower grit x belts you can see highs and lows through the belts on the serrated rubber. A lot of wheel bump with it
